YIGs celebrates ten years in BracebridgeApril 2011 saw two special opportunities to donate.

Envelope Campaign

The Annual Envelope Campaign kicked off early in the month, with pre-addressed envelopes going out across Muskoka in the April 1 edition of the Weekender.

And if you don’t have a pre-addressed envelope, you can always send a cheque to Box 462, Bracebridge, ON, P1L 1T8. Manna is always grateful to receive your donation. Read the Press Release

Food drive at Gagnon’s Your Independent Grocer

And if you’re doing a bit of grocery shopping at Gagnon’s Your Independent Grocer in Bracebridge, from April 8 to 28 you can pick up a bag of groceries for your neighbors in need.

YIGs is selling paper grocery bags packed with non-perishable food items that will go to the food bank. Each bag costs $15. Included in that is a $2 cash donation to the food bank. Read the Press Release.
