Another successful Oldtimers Fall Food Drive thanks to you
October 9, 2019 – A HUGE thank you to everyone who pitched in at the Muskoka Oldtimers Fall Food Drive for Manna last night!
What a great evening! About 200 volunteers came out from all over Bracebridge, especially Monck Public School, BPS and Macaulay Public School; and the 2250 Muskoka Pioneers Royal Canadian Army Cadets and the South Muskoka Bears Hockey Association.
LOTS of food was collected from all over town. Thanks to the many of you who donated! Over $3,000 in monetary donations also arrived last night. Quite a few donations arrived in cardboard boxes and reusable shopping bags. Thanks for going that little bit further for the environment. If we missed you – sorry! – you can call 705-646-0114 for a pick-up (leave a message), or bring your donation to the donation box at YIGs or Food Basic in Bracebridge.
Many businesses helped out too; a special thanks goes to Boston Pizza, Little Caesars, Brown’s Beverages, YIG’s and Fowlers Construction.
We also had plenty of media support. We really appreciate the help of Moose FM CFBG 99.5 – Muskoka , Country 102 and YourTV Muskoka in particular. If you didn’t hear about it, you need to get out more!
And last but certainly not least, thank you again and always, Muskoka Oldtimers, for your amazing, long-standing support. It’s been nearly 30 years, and you’ve still got it!
