People Helping People – With Potatoes!

The ROTARY CLUB OF BRACEBRIDGE purchased 40,000 pounds of potatoes from a PEI farmer who was unable to get his potatoes to market as a result of a trade issue.  They then arranged for a transport to move the spuds from PEI to the Fanotech Warehouse in Bracebridge and with the support of other Rotary Clubs in Muskoka loaded them, often by hand-bombing, into trucks destined for agencies throughout Muskoka which provide for those facing food insecurity issues.  Manna gratefully received 5,000 pounds of the potatoes which are truly appreciated by our Clients.
Thanks to all involved for the heavy lifting and enduring the winter storm that was upon us!
