Students MAC for Manna
April 2017 – Last week Manna volunteers picked up 618 food items collected by Michelle Scarlett’s Social Justice group at Monsignor Michael O’Leary Catholic School in Bracebridge. The group of between 40 and 50 students calls the project MAC, which stands for Make A Change. They bring in food donations for Lenten, which starts the Thursday before Easter. A huge thank you to this very generous group of students, teachers and staff for all of their hard work, and many food donations Manna receives each year. We are indeed very fortunate to have young people in our community that work so hard at these projects.
