Manna has always been powered by dedicated volunteers. Whether you can give a couple of hours during the week or help out at special community events, we’d love to have you on the team.
Volunteer During a Special Event
If you cannot commit to a regular weekly shift, come out and lend a hand during community food drives and seasonal events. It is a fun, high-energy way to give back.
Join the Manna Team
Commitment: A few hours as needed.
The food bank is open Tuesdays and Fridays weekly, and there are 12 teams of four or five people on duty.
Roles:
- Food Sorting & Stocking: Sort incoming food donations, fill pantry shelves, and stock refrigerators to prepare groceries for distribution. (Approx. 2 hours a week, Tuesday or Thursday mornings)
- Greeter: Welcome clients with warmth and care as they arrive.
- Interviewer: Meet briefly with clients to connect and check in during their visit.
